As mentioned in Drawing Your Room, the measurements along the bottom of the screen update when drawing your room. They show the distance between the where you started (the red cross) and your current position (the blue cross).
In the above image, the current position is above (positive vertical value) and to the left (positive horizontal value) of the start point. The angle is the value you would need to turn through to head from the current position back to the start point. In the above example you would Rotate 162 degrees.
NOTE - the angle does not take into account any other direction changes you may have already done.
In the above example, if you Turn (equivalent to a clockwise rotation of 90 degrees), the angle value would still be 135. If you then Rotated 135 degrees you would have turned a total of 90 + 135 degrees.
The angle value will also be positive of negative, depending on your position relative to the start position.
