i-Choose Handle Selector: Designed to Help You Sell
Assigning a particular handle to a particular door type for the i-Choose set up process:
- Choose a manufacturer using the list box in the top-left of the dialog. A list of door ranges associated with that manufacturer will list in the range listbox adjacent to it.
- Selecting a range will relist the handle thumbnails in the listview, these are handles that the said range is usually associated with, though you need not worry about which is compatible is which, you can use any.
- Click on a door handle thumbnail, the row will be highlighted. If you then right-click on that selection, you will be presented with a list of options sectioned by two separators as shown on the right.
- After the second separator, click on the "Assign to " option. You will see your handle assigned in the list view at the bottom-left of the dialog. Th enext time the context menu appears there will be a tick symbol adjacent to the selection you made to indicate you have already assigned to that door type.
Assigning a particular handle to all door types for the i-Choose set up process:
- Choose a manufacturer using the list box in the top-left of the dialog. A list of door ranges associated with that manufacturer will list in the range listbox adjacent to it.
- Selecting a range will relist the handle thumbnails in the listview, these are handles that the said range is usually associated with, though you need not worry about which is compatible is which, you can use any.
- Click on a door handle thumbnail, the row will be highlighted. If you then right-click on that selection, you will be presented with a list of options sectioned by two separators as shown on the right.
- Before the first separator, click on the "Assign to All" option. You will see your handle assigned in the list view at the bottom-left of the dialog. All types will be assigned to unless that handle does not usually appear as available for that type and range.
Assigning a particular handle to all door types that you have not yet applied to for the i-Choose set up process:
- Choose a manufacturer using the list box in the top-left of the dialog. A list of door ranges associated with that manufacturer will list in the range listbox adjacent to it.
- Selecting a range will relist the handle thumbnails in the listview, these are handles that the said range is usually associated with, though you need not worry about which is compatible is which, you can use any.
- Click on a door handle thumbnail, the row will be highlighted. If you then right-click on that selection, you will be presented with a list of options sectioned by two separators as shown on the right.
- After the first separator, click on the "Assign to Remaining" option. You will see your handle assigned in the list view at the bottom-left of the dialog. All types not yet assigned to will be assigned to unless that handle does not usually appear as available for that type and range.
Assigning a particular handle to a custom set of door types for the i-Choose set up process:
- In the listview at the bottom-left of the dialog, hold down the CTRL key and select the door types you would like to assign to.
- Choose a manufacturer using the list box in the top-left of the dialog. A list of door ranges associated with that manufacturer will list in the range listbox adjacent to it.
- Selecting a range will relist the handle thumbnails in the listview, these are handles that the said range is usually associated with, though you need not worry about which is compatible is which, you can use any.
- Click on a door handle thumbnail, the row will be highlighted. If you then right-click on that selection, you will be presented with a list of options sectioned by two separators as shown on the right.
- After the first separator, click on the "Assign to Selected" option. You will see the door types you selected being assigned to in the list view at the bottom-left of the dialog. All selected door types will be assigned to unless that handle does not usually appear as available for that type and range.
Clearing all the selections:
- Clear All. A message box will ask you if you are sure, clicking yes will clear your selections.
Note: The handle selections you have chosen are persistent, even after restarting Articad. There is no need to repeatedly assign the same door handle permutations on subsequent i-Choose set ups.
