In ArtiCAD menu bar->Special->iChoose System...->Handle Selector...
i-Choose Permutation Selector
Each handle permutation is a set of handles assigned to certain types of door. For example, you may choose
handle A to be assigned to the base unit door and handle B assigned to the wall unit door. and so on for all the door types (though there are Articad restrictions that will be enforced automatically).
Adding a Handle Permutation to the i-Choose Set Up Process:
- Click the button labelled Add Permutation. A row will appear in the list view labelled "Permutation 1" (or other integer). Edited the column wil be set to 'No' because no handles have been assigned in that permutation yet.
- Double-click the new row in the listview to edit the handle permutation
- Click the OK button when you are finished. The handle permutations are now set up for the rendering.
Deleting a Door Handle Permutation From the i-Choose Set Up Process:
- Select the door range you wish to delete from the listview
- Click the button labelled Delete Permutation. You will see it is now removed from the listview on the left hence will not be rendered.
Deleting All Door Handle Permutations From the i-Choose Set Up Process
- Click on the button labelled Clear Permutations
Note - The door handle permutations you have chosen are persistent, even after restarting Articad. There is no need to repeatedly select the same door handle permutations on subsequent i-Choose set ups.
